Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide technical assistance and repairs for small engines, winches, and other equipment outside of the Boat House Plan, execute, and document all preventative maintenance on PSC equipment, following manufacturer specifications, both at sea and in port Interact with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as required to facilitate maintenance actions Perform preventative maintenance on PSCs aluminum hull, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems Coordinate layout to support assigned PSC operations Support the development of preventative maintenance schedules and provide annual maintenance action recommendations for repair or upgrades Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in small boat craft maintenance, including: Bilge cleaning and maintenance, Electrical and electronic systems checks, Hatch and scuttle inspection, Rigger Training and Close-quarters boat handling Preferred Qualifications: 1600T Master license Experience supporting NSWC PCD projects First Aid/AED training Clearance Requirements: An active Interim Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract Ability to obtain CAC badge and Base Security Access approval Physical Requirements: Climbing in and out of small boats Lifting heavy equipment Performing maintenance and repairs on the water, sometimes in harsh weather conditions Working in confined spaces Completing physical inspections
