Slug Support Associate Director

Slug Support Associate Director (Santa Cruz, CA). Duties: Provide assistance to the Director in managing the daily operation of Slug Support services. Plan, develop, implement, and advise on programs and services for students in their non-academic life at the university. Provide student advocacy and coordination of responses to students experiencing varying degrees of need and/or distress. Requirements: Master's in Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, or related field. Solid skills in each of the following: crisis management and intervention; community outreach and service delivery; program partnership building and implementing collaborative efforts. Broad knowledge of mental health care. Demonstrated ability to work with international students, faculty, staff, and parents; and ability to work with students from diverse cultures, religion, and sexual orientation. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present to community partners and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to navigate campus policies and advocate on behalf of students. Salary: $93,384-$97,500 per year.
