Sleep Medicine Opportunity - Located in Springfield, MA - Full-time, permanent position - Employed opportunityPosition Overview: A not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts, consisting of an academic medical center, three community hospitals, and the region's largest multispecialty group. We are seeking an experienced Sleep Medicine Physician to join our organization.Join a compassionate and inspired team working together to care for the communities in need, with a long and proud tradition of continuous learning and improvement.Position Highlights: Multidisciplinary Team: Join a regional sleep practice with specialists in neurology, pulmonary, psychiatry, med/peds, and pediatrics sleep medicine Team Composition: Well-established team includes 5 full-time sleep physicians, part-time sleep pulmonologists, and 3 APPs Clinical FTE: 0.9 clinical FTE with protected sleep study interpretation time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m., with 60/30 minute live and telemedicine patient schedules Call Coverage: 1:6 Sleep lab call coverage Patient Care: A major referral center for complex patients, with supporting community sites Sleep Studies:Facility has 18 sleep beds at 2 sites and conducts approximately 3,000 home sleep studies annually Technology: Active Inspire program with ENT and maxillofacial surgery partners, advanced titrations including TCCO2 monitoring and iVAPS Leadership Development: Opportunities for leadership development and ongoing professional growth Teaching: Combination of clinical care and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students with faculty appointment Qualifications: Certification: ABMS BE/BC in Sleep Medicine with fellowship training Commitment: Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential for success
