Job Title: Skilled Nursing LPN

Shift: Night - 3X12 - 6:00PM - 6:00AM (36 Hours)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3 months of LTC experience in an LPN position
License: License for state of practice required
Certifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BLS

Must-Have:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Basic nursing skills, including medication administration and understanding of therapeutic effects and side effects
- Supervisory skills for overseeing assigned employees

Job Description:
- Provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner
- Assures medications and treatments are administered to residents following nursing standards of practice
- Updates care plans as needed
- Complies with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
- Engages in employee interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewarding, and disciplining
- Addresses complaints, resolves problems, and fosters an environment for employee engagement
- The position involves physical activity, including movement and positioning in response to job tasks
- Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
- Work environment noise level is usually moderate, and travel frequency may vary based on business needs
- Weightlifting requirement: 35 lbs
- Role is for a Floor/Charge Nurse Overnight in LTC, Skilled, and Post Acute Rehab settings
