In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position
Lead the site services systems to provide maintenance & services to the facility in a cost-effective manner.

Essential Functions
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesNegotiate & manage all major contracts for services while improving valueProactively manage the facility upkeep & respond timely to building maintenance requestsManage security contractors to protect critical areas & employee safetyParticipate with spill response & first aid teamsManage housekeeping contractors & proactively maintain facility cleanlinessManage pest control contractor & programMaintain Site Services SharePoint site & recordsEnsure all records are maintained for audit readinessManage all deviations & audit NCs for the Site Services areas of responsibilityProvide back up support for waste management & fire protection systemsOther accountabilities, as assignedPhysical Requirements
May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or planning, or equivalent combination of education & experience preferredMinimum of 5 years in facilities maintenance including system ownership requiredMinimum of 2 years in negotiations of contracts & contract management requiredBuilding Maintenance knowledge/experience requiredKnowledge of security systems preferredContract negotiations/contract management requiredManagement of various fulltime contractors requiredBasic knowledge of OSHA regulations preferredParticipation in emergency response teams a plusPharmaceutical experience a plus preferredGood communication & writing skills a plusWorking knowledge of fire detection/suppression/prevention systems preferredAble to develop & manage action plans to achieve targets preferredWe commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
