A well-established Roofing and Cladding Contractor is seeking a
Site Manager to oversee a key project in Doncaster. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roofing and cladding solutions across the UK, working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
Package: £275 per day
Location: DN15
Contract: 18-week contract
Role Overview The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, on schedule, and in line with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and excellent communication to ensure project success over the 18-week period.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring work is completed to required standards.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the build.
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress to senior management.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination.
- Ensure all materials and equipment are available and used effectively.
Experience & Skills Required - Proven experience as a Site Manager within the Construction Sector
- Knowledge of Flat Roofing Systems would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
- CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and First Aid qualification required.
- Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions under pressure.
