Site Manager - Milton Keynes - Home Furniture Store Fit-Out - 4 Weeks
I'm working with a leading fit-out contractor delivering a high-spec retail fit-out for a national home furniture store in Milton Keynes.

This short-term role offers the chance to oversee a fast-paced, design-led project with a premium client, requiring strong coordination and quality control from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring the project is completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

• Lead the on-site delivery of a fast-track retail fit-out.

• Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme and design intent.

• Liaise with the client, project manager, and subcontractors to maintain smooth operations.

Health & Safety:

• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold all H&S requirements.

• Conduct daily briefings and enforce site discipline.

Quality & Programme:

• Monitor progress and quality of finish across all trades.

• Address any snags or design queries quickly to avoid delays.

Site Coordination:

• Manage site logistics and subcontractor schedules.

• Ensure smooth handover and site presentation for store opening.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on fast-track retail or fit-out projects is essential.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS are required.

• Must be able to hit the ground running and manage a tight programme.
