Site-Based Maintenance Engineer to join a global leader in special-purpose machinery, based at a customer site in
Birmingham.
In this permanent, full-time role, you'll deliver high-quality maintenance and engineering support, ensuring state-of-the-art machines run efficiently and reliably. You ll be a key point of contact for the customer, providing both reactive and preventative maintenance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you ll do: - Perform planned and reactive maintenance on complex machinery
- Provide first-time fixes and thorough diagnostics on breakdowns
- Ensure machines meet or exceed performance expectations
- Build strong daily working relationships with customer contacts
- Maintain stock and tools, adhering to health and safety standards
What we re looking for: - Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (qualification or experience-based)
- Previous experience in a customer-facing engineering role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and PC hardware
- Process-driven with excellent communication skills
- Positive, flexible approach to work
