Job Summary

This job oversees several administrative functions of programs delivered by the Simulation Center. All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork.

Essential F unctions

  • Supports the department staff on select projects to enhance the efficiency, cost effectiveness, and impact of the team's work.

  • Forecasts and schedules the annual curriculum calendar with assistance from the manager.

  • Ensures compliance with all accreditation criteria relevant to operation including, but not limited to, the American Heart Association, the PH-USCSOM CME organization, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.

  • Generates operational reports for use in internal and external communications.

  • Assists with ongoing maintenance and update of all IT assets including but not limited to website, internally used databases, department SharePoint site, etc.

  • Maintains annual improvement plans for each center/area activity based on learner/instructor feedback mechanisms and evolving curriculum.

  • Performs day-to-day budget oversight including but not limited to invoicing, financial software data entry, etc.

  • Develops business / financial models for new activities as well as for long term expansion planning.

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree

  • Experience - Two (2) years in administrative role. Administrative experience in healthcare education preferred.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • A valid driver's license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.

  • Driving is required for this position using a Company vehicle and the employee's personally owned vehicle. Employee will be expected to adhere to the Driver Safety Policy and specific department driving policies. Employee must pass driver training.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong MS office skills including advanced Excel and Access skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to learn various simulator specific computer software

  • Familiarity with web development preferred

  • Familiarity with research design and implementation preferred.

Each service line is led by clinical educators with a vast range of experience and expertise in your chosen specialty. All our clinical educators who serve in our programs have a love and a desire to teach. Our educators are integrated into all aspects of the Allied Health. Our programs include Pharmacy, Respiratory, Lab, Therapies, Radiology, Surg techs, and Mobile medicine (EMT).
