Our top electronic manufacturing client is looking to hire seven Signal Integrity Engineers (from Staff to Senior Staff level) to join teams in California and Texas.


Signal Integrity Engineer


We are seeking talented Signal Integrity Engineers to join an incredible client experiencing hypergrowth. This position involves providing design guidance and support for system architecture, board layout, product development, debugging, validation, and factory builds. You will conduct testing, simulation, validation, and qualification of systems, making necessary design adjustments along the way.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Model high-density I/Os on PCBs, packages, connectors, and probe cards, focusing on parameters such as reflections, bandwidth, and crosstalk.
  • Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects across multiple domains while participating in project planning and scheduling.
  • Utilize simulation tools such as Hspice, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, and HFSS 3D effectively.
  • Apply strong knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity fundamental concepts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in package and PCB modeling.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations.
  • Perform transmission line and via modeling, conducting experiments to validate modeling outcomes.
  • Analyze and review layout files related to Signal Integrity and Power Integrity challenges.
  • Provide actionable solutions to the design team based on simulation results and analysis.
  • Conduct simulations for memory interfaces and high-speed serial I/O interfaces.
  • Optimize decoupling capacitors and analyze loop inductance.
  • Be recognized as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in a standard office environment.
  • May require extended periods of sitting and focused visual concentration on computer screens or detailed data.
  • Frequent repetitive manual movements, such as data entry and using a computer mouse.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 11 to 14 years of relevant experience is required.
