Job Title: Sign Installer
Job Summary:Seeking a detail-oriented, safety-conscious Sign Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional and accurate installation of various types of signage, including indoor, outdoor, illuminated, non-illuminated, vinyl graphics, and dimensional lettering. You'll work at client sites, sometimes at heights, and often as part of a small crew or independently.
Key Responsibilities:Install a wide variety of signs according to project specifications and site conditions
Operate power tools, lifts, ladders, and other equipment safely and effectively
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine layout and installation procedures
Prepare surfaces and structures for mounting signs, ensuring stability and alignment
Load, transport, and unload signs and installation materials
Communicate with project managers, team members, and clients to ensure installations meet expectations
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work vehicle
Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in sign installation or a related construction/technical field preferred
Ability to work comfortably at heights and in varying weather conditions
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
Good physical condition with the ability to lift 50 lbs
Preferred Skills:Knowledge of electrical wiring (for illuminated signs)
Crane operation or bucket truck experience
Certification in rigging or fall protection (optional but a plus)
Basic carpentry or construction background
