Job Description:JOB DESCRIPTION
North Orange County Community College District is now accepting applications for a Part-Time DSS Class Aide and optional Educational Coaching assignments at NOCE.
Job description: Classroom Aide
- Assist Instructor with technology in creating online curriculum
- Assist Instructor with paperwork (copies, filing, etc.)
- Ensures classroom, office and instructional areas are maintained (on campus)
- Work with small groups of students under supervision of instructor
- Supervise students during non-instructional periods (lunch, break, before school, after school) (on campus)
Short Term: March 2025-June 2025, with option to be renewed in July 2025 for an allocated 38.5wks/26hrs max per week.
Hours are not guaranteed. Substitute options are also available.
Schedule: - March 2025-June 2025, 38.5 weeks/26 hours a week max, flexible hours, avail Mon-Fri 8:30-3PM desired.
- Potential for contract renewal for fiscal year July 2025-June 2026.
- Unpaid lunch.
Salary: Non-Classified short-term hourly, Starting pay range, $19.00 per hour (based on education level and experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
There are 2 positions open to be filled for 2025; potential for rehire for the next academic year, .
Special Requirements:SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Submit your work schedule availability between Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Skilled with technology (Zoom, Canvas, Microsoft Suite, Google Platform).
High School Diploma or GED.
