Description
Summary of Position This position performs various testing, repair, fabrication, assembly and maintenance activities. Duties may also include safety and quality control inspections, operating automated machinery; various power/hand tools in compliance with company policy and established safety procedures.
Essential Functions - Steaming/cleaning fishing and rental tools
- Set-up, program operator, and prep all assigned equipment and perform full operational checks making all necessary adjustments.
- Rebuild equipment using standard rebuild process.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
- Fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products, such as industrial machine or equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate parts.
- Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
- Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.
- Fabricate special fixtures needed to perform task completion.
- May be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
- Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications - High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior experience in the oil and gas or related field preferred.
- One year in a vocational/technical training program is preferred.
- Must be able to pass Work Steps physical, including ability to lift 125 lbs.
- Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and verbal/written English communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR check and criminal background check
