SUMMARY:The Shop Technician is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for assembling and fabricating parts and operating machinery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Reads blueprint or job order for product.
- Assemble and/or fabricate parts. Operate machinery as required.
- Able to use basic hand tools and calibrators.
- Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer's expectations.
- Assembles or fabricates parts to print.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
