GeoKimika is seeking a Shop Technician to handle shop tasks. Shop Technician is responsible for performing repair and maintenance on water monitoring equipment and related components. Maintains inventory, reports and communicates progress with the Shop Manager. Shop Technician repairs/rebuilds equipment to specifications and completes all required documentation.
Requirements:
No degree required
Qualifications:
Effective verbal, written, reading, and communication skills are required.
Knowledge of operation of power tools.
Knowledge of electrical or electronic components and assembly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Shop Technician is responsible for performing water monitoring skid and associated equipment repair jobs.
Shop Technician repairs/rebuilds water monitoring systems (sensors/equipment housing/solar power systems) to specifications and completes all required documentation.
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Performs daily housekeeping tasks assigned by Shop Manager.
Maintain parts inventory.
Assists in shipping/receiving functions assigned by supervisor.
Complete all documentation for repair/rebuilding and testing.
Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
Follow specific written instructions and procedures for all jobs presented.
Other duties as assigned.
