Shop Helper

Job Description

Join our dynamic sheet metal shop as a Shop Helper . You'll receive comprehensive training across various departments, operate advanced machinery, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Floater Role : Gain experience in all departments.
  • Machinery Operation : Operate timesaver, deburr parts, set up and operate Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser.
  • Maintenance : Ensure machines and shop are clean and well-maintained.
Essential Skills
  • Experience : Minimum 6 months in manufacturing.
  • Physical Ability : Regularly lift 50-60 lbs.
  • Work Ethic : Strong mechanical inclination and dedication.
  • Career Focus : Interest in a long-term career in the sheet metal industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Education : Recent graduates from sheet metal Tech Schools preferred.
  • Experience : High school shop class experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Our prototype sheet metal fabrication facility operates as a union shop, with most employees joining after 90 days. The environment is clean, bright, and equipped with state-of-the-art Trumpf Machines, promoting a modern and efficient workspace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
