Shop Helper Job Description Join our dynamic sheet metal shop as a
Shop Helper . You'll receive comprehensive training across various departments, operate advanced machinery, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities - Floater Role : Gain experience in all departments.
- Machinery Operation : Operate timesaver, deburr parts, set up and operate Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser.
- Maintenance : Ensure machines and shop are clean and well-maintained.
Essential Skills - Experience : Minimum 6 months in manufacturing.
- Physical Ability : Regularly lift 50-60 lbs.
- Work Ethic : Strong mechanical inclination and dedication.
- Career Focus : Interest in a long-term career in the sheet metal industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Education : Recent graduates from sheet metal Tech Schools preferred.
- Experience : High school shop class experience is a plus.

Work Environment Our prototype sheet metal fabrication facility operates as a union shop, with most employees joining after 90 days. The environment is clean, bright, and equipped with state-of-the-art Trumpf Machines, promoting a modern and efficient workspace.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
