Warren Oil is looking for an energetic Shipping and receiving clerk in our West Memphis, AR manufacturing facility. The primary responsibilities will be to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties: - Assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
- Receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material.
- Arranging for the transportation of products.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Other duties as assigned.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Requirements: - High school diploma or GED
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Requires attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Problem- solving ability
- Write legibly
- Ability to work with others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with various transactional paperwork in at least 3 of the following functional areas: Blending, Packaging Work Orders, Receiving, Transfers, Shipping, Purchase Orders
- Experience using ERP systems such as JDE or SAP
