Summary:
Ensure the receiving and shipping process is carried out according to the relevant procedures. Supporting that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled on time, documentations are complying to relevant specifications and regulations. Ensuring that all documents are available and traceable, properly classified/saved/filed and available to satisfy customer, internal and legal regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:
Receiving:
  • Entering all serial numbers into the MMS system
  • Work with Outside Vendors to schedule return shipments, including contacting carriers to arrange, critical, overnight or same-day shipments
  • For Outside Vendor returns; review all received paperwork, to confirm conformance then receive all SNs against the applicable PO in MMS
  • Scan and File all Incoming/Outgoing Paperwork to the appropriate BOX files
Batching:
  • Based on instruction batching the parts in MMS system
Shipping: Finished Goods and Outside Vendor
  • Coordinate all expected shipments with the S/R team to make sure they have the material (Finished Goods / Outside Vendor) packed and ready for shipping
  • Coordinate all relative QCRs (Accept for Finished Goods or OV for Outside Vendor)
  • Process all MMS transactions related to Finished Goods and Outside Vendor Shipments , provide all relative paperwork (Pack Slips, SN Lists and COC) to the S/R team
  • Organize all outgoing Finished Goods shipments through OTM or direct through FedEx or other carriers
  • Organize all outgoing Outside Vendor shipments through OTM or direct through FedEx or other carriers
  • Finished Goods: send an email with Pack Slip, SN List and COC to EPF and HUN. Send an email to GLV advising shipments
  • Coordinate Hungary Shipments: create and plan all support material (electrodes, etc) through FedEx
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and take verbal instructions
Eligibility Requirements
  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government export restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents and protected individuals (e.g., certain refugees and asylees . GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime including weekend shifts.
Desired Characteristics
  • Demonstrates positive professional attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.
  • 6 months or more of forklift experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Able to work with computerized shop floor tools
  • Strong team player and flexible-willingness to move to different areas
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team with minimal supervision
