DescriptionPrimary Objective: Supports internal and external customers' expectations by performing manual and administrative duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering of a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies in a timely and efficient manner. This position typically works with minimal supervision. This position has no direct reports.
Key Job Duties: - Distributes parts orders for inhouse builds.
- Provides incoming parts to in-house jaw assembly bench.
- Works with service personnel in entering sales orders and supply parts to customers.
- Checks for shortages and defective parts in all locations.
- Assists with purchase orders of parts and receives the when they arrive.
- Performs shipping and logistic functions for aftermarket and sales projects. Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Processes calls from logistics suppliers and customer service centers.
- Assists with cycle counting and all inventory audits.
- Creates shipping documents for international orders (USMCA, commercial invoice)
- Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed.
- Participates in and contributes to EDL/Massman's lean manufacturing journey-5S initiatives
Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.
RequirementsQualifications: Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of Micro Soft Office and ERP software preferred
Strong calculative and analytical skills
Experience and/or Other Requirements: 1 - 3 years' experience in comparable work environment preferred
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Stands for long periods of time
