Maksteel USA is looking hire a Shipping & receiving to join our dynamic team. Maksteel is a growing steel service center that has been in business for almost 60 years. Successful candidates will have ideally worked in the steel industry (but not required) and have a solid level of experience with the types of specialized products and services produced by steel service centers. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Assure timely and safe handling of truck traffic.
- Process any incoming invoices and include proper coding for payment.
- Scan and perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
- Arrange load for shipments.
- Operate a Forklift and/or Overhead Crane (when necessary).
Qualifications - 1 year of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving.
- Strong computer skills with systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with steel, plus
- Good writing, communication, and computer skills.
- Able to read tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.
- Good organizational skills.
