Salary Range: $16.50 - $22.14
Position Summary: Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

The Shipping Clerk performs duties that facilitate the loading of finished goods onto outbound LTL and dedicated (blanket wrap) delivery trucks, including completion of accurate paperwork for customer service.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:- Brings finished goods to loading dock with the assistance of manual handling equipment.
- Scans orders for the purpose of generating packing slips and BOLs to prepare orders for shipment.
- Prepares paperwork for shipment of orders, files paperwork to allow for proper invoicing.
- When required, moves orders from manufacturing assembly areas to shipping warehouse.
- Understands and maintains the daily shipping schedule.
- Responsive to production flow.
- Performs other duties as required by the Shipping Supervisor.
- Manages daily outbound shipments.
- Interacts with freight companies, as required to maintain best practices.
- Does all of the above in a manner that meets the company safety requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Education: Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years' experience as a Shipping Clerk in manufacturing setting
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Excellent organizational, time planning and communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with International shipping paperwork and processes a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS: - Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hand manual tools, using battery operated or electrical hand tools, and pulling and pushing manual material handling equipment at a non-temperature controlled facility.
- Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and sometimes crawl.
- Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
- Overtime and weekend work if required
