YOUR ROLE In this role, you will lead a team of Warehouse Associates and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical schedule will be Wednesday - Sunday, Wednesday - Friday you will work 6:00 am - 4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday you will work 7:00 am - 12:00pm . The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide daily tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates for daily workloads
- Monitor the daily labor, work schedules and daily attendance of employees
- Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
- Establish a channel between our customer and Kuehne+Nagel to improve interactions
- Follow proper policies, procedures, safety rules and FDA regulations
- Count items and enter information into computer databases
- Ensure proper conditions to keep products are fresh and clean
- Identify products damaged during transportation, and confirm quality of goods
- Establish daily priorities
- Pick product using a forklift or other material handling equipment
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES - High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- Forklift certification and experience
- Basic technical and math skills
