We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. While experience is not required, strong communication skills and exceptional customer service are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service with a customer-first approach.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory, including stocking, organizing, and tracking.
- Assist with routine audits and special order bins.
- Ship, receive, and deliver parts orders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Process customer requests efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a detailed delivery log and ensure proper handling of returns and funds.
- Support the annual physical parts inventory process.
- Assist technicians and counter personnel by pulling and delivering parts as needed.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Report damaged parts or shortages to the Parts Manager immediately.
- Answer phone calls and assist customers professionally.
- Complete required manufacturer and company training.
- Maintain cleanliness of the parts department and delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills
