Shipping/Receiving Clerk III

Job Summary:

Responsible for handling, preparation, and shipping of various products with minimal supervision. Performs receiving, handling, and checking of incoming materials and supplies to verify quantity and weight against purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

†Ship products as per shipping orders, completing bills of lading and necessary documentation.

†Wrap and arrange materials in shipping containers using appropriate packing materials.

†Ensure products are properly packed according to specifications.

†Interpret packing specifications and calculate container dimensions based on equipment measurements.

†Select appropriate barrier materials, cushioning, and required sizes of hardware such as nails, nuts, and bolts.

Required Qualifications:

†3-5 years of experience in shipping and receiving.

†Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

†Knowledge of packing materials and shipping procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

†Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

†Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Certifications:

†Any relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse management (if applicable).

Education: High School
