Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location: Van Nuys CA
Contract: 8 Months and Temp to Perm
Shift: 1st shift. Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Education and Skills: Bachelor's degree, GED, Diploma
Minimum of 3 years of industrial work experience required. Computer Savey
Prior SAP experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
Shipping & Receiving Specialist 1st shift, you will be the intersection between supply chain management, sales, and business analytics. You will be responsible for aligning all produced products aProductst the customer sales orders or receiving materials in. This role plays an important in the outboard delivery of our fragrances. As for receiving clerk the important role would be inbounding material in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities
• Execute Outbound Delivery (OBD) pick pack creation by executing a variety of reports in the VL family of transactions. (VL10A, VL10B, VL10H)
• Keep at an absolute minimum the red lights on the VL reports by creating OBD's on time.
• Communicate information to internal partners to maintain accurate goods issue dates and ensure customers have the most recent order management information.
• Ensure quality is informed of any batches available that do not meet the batch strategy requirements.
• Advise customer service of SUT mismatches between sales orders and inventory on hand.
• Execute repack orders in conjunction with manufacturing supervisors and close orders with PGI.

You bring
• GED/Diploma / Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, operations management, or a similar field.
• Prior SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of chemicals supply chain operations preferred.
• Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold).
• Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
