Description
Would you like to help us make a difference with our orthodontic appliances? Every day we ship custom-made orthodontic appliances all over the country to improve the lives of our customers' patients. We need your help.
Do you enjoy working at a fast pace and have high attention to detail? Do you enjoy a position where you get to move around a lot? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our shipping department. Duties include a full range of shipping tasks related to orthodontic appliances typically weighing 1-2 lbs. Work requires a high degree of dependability, attention to detail, and ability it remain calm under pressure.
Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED equivalency, or currently enrolled.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk and carry parts, materials, etc.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Good attendance
- Ability to recognize types of appliances being shipped to determine which brochures to include with shipment.
- Ability to determine correct shipping terms to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ability to apply work instructions and follow procedures for each type of shipment whether domestic or international.
- Ability to understand and follow requirements of the quality system procedure as defined in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Safeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company's Confidentiality Agreement.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Understand and use personal protective equipment where required.
- Understand how one's performance can impact the success of the organization and product quality.
