Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 - $24 / hour What You'll Do as a Shipping Clerk: - Load and Unload trucks as they come in Schedule Truck Shipments for outgoing and some incoming products
- Gather freight quotes for shipments and communicate with some customers for them to schedule their shipments if applicable
- Create BOL, Packing Slips and secure packages for transit
- Order packaging materials for specific jobs
- Receive in and inspect materials as they come in and document in the computer software
- Material Handling - Bring materials for a specific job to a machine
- Maintain accurate material inventory
- Maintain plastic recycling program/inventory
- Cut up scrap using band saw
Available Shifts: Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job Requirements: - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of truck freight rates
- Solid knowledge of safety policies and best practices
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Must be Dependable, Flexible, Detail and People oriented
