Our client is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude towards safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
What's the Job? - Load and unload shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure safe handling of products.
- Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type, and prepare for shipment.
- Track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to verify stock levels, utilizing basic math skills for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals, ensuring timely processing of all orders.
What's Needed? - Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is essential.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate counting and record maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
