Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing our logistics operations. This position operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving processes using MAS 100 ERP system, while maintaining inventory management and compliance with customer requirements. The starting pay is $21/hour.
Responsibilities - Conduct shipping operations in ERP system, including picking, labeling, and scheduling shipments.
- Physically handle boxes weighing from 1 to 60 pounds for shipping and receiving tasks.
- Review Open Order and Purchase Order reports daily to ensure accurate and timely customer order shipments.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, and billing within MAS 100 ERP.
- Receive products into ERP and create vendor payment vouchers.
- Maintain inventory management in ERP and bin locations, and conduct annual physical inventory counts.
- Ensure organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of the warehouse environment.
- Familiarize yourself with the Safety and Quality Policies and Objectives.
Essential Skills - Experience with reach trucks and forklifts.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Inventory management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - 2 years of experience in a distribution environment.
- 2 years of experience utilizing forklifts.
- 2 years of shipping/receiving experience.
