Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description Join a dynamic plastic fencing company as a Shipping Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of products. You will be responsible for inspecting and packing products according to customer specifications, ensuring defect-free and complete shipments.
Responsibilities - Remove products from the line and inspect for defects to ensure the correct product is prepared for specific orders.
- Match products to orders and pack them as per customer specifications.
- Load products onto skids and place protective materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Perform basic light assembly of parts when necessary.
- Accurately count products and ensure shipments are complete and accurate.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Operate a hand jack to move empty and loaded skids.
- Load and unload push carts, moving them to various production or staging areas.
- Enter and remove items from inventory, ensuring accurate paper and computer documentation.
Essential Skills - Proficiency in packing and loading products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
