Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
- Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and damages
- Maintain accurate inventory records and notify management of shortages or damages
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors for timely pickups and deliveries
- Ensure all products are stored in the correct location in the warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area
- Follow safety protocols and report any incidents or equipment issues
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with inventory software, shipping systems, or handheld scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Working Conditions: - Warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- May require overtime or weekend shifts during peak periods
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
