Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist with Inventory Management Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist with strong inventory management skills. The role involves working closely with all levels within the facility, from plant managers to accounting and production teams, to find solutions and solve problems efficiently.
Responsibilities - Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Handle order management and production planning.
- Set up shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct cycle counts and manage back stock.
- Generate reports and maintain safety stock levels.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Operate forklifts for inventory movement.
Essential Skills - Proven experience in inventory management.
- Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Ability to perform cycle counts and manage warehouse inventory.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Forklift operation experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Previous experience in a production environment.
