Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and light assembly. The ideal candidate will enjoy packaging boxes, using bar code scanners, and engaging in physical tasks throughout the day.
Responsibilities - Receive inbound freight and process shipping for outbound orders.
- Perform light assembly tasks.
- Use bar code scanners to track inventory and orders.
- Pick orders from an order sheet and maintain accurate inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Pack and ship orders while ensuring accuracy.
- Use handheld tools and operate material handling machinery such as pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and scales.
- Stock and move materials correctly throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory to maintain accurate data.
- Complete accurate data entry using multiple computer systems and programs.
- Follow all quality standards and established safety procedures.
Essential Skills - Ability to lift 50-60 lbs safely throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Comfortable with training to use cherry pickers to grab materials.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with cherry picking or any forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.

Work Environment The warehouse is not climate controlled, but large ceiling fans circulate the air flow. The facility is brand new, providing a modern and efficient work environment.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
