Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate receipt and shipment of materials within our facility. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordination with our logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
Responsibilities - Review scheduled receipts and shipments for the day.
- Ensure accurate receipt of material into the facility, including raw, packaging, and co-pack materials, and assure outgoing shipments match the bill of lading.
- Complete required forms and paperwork for proper receipt of material using the Sage ERP system.
- Perform quality checks on materials for color and moisture.
- Stage shipments and unload/store finished goods.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality objectives, ensuring that ingredients and retail products comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and Safe Quality Food certification standards.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Implement and actively participate in the company safety program (AWAIR), holding regular meetings and training sessions with employees to create and foster a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment This position requires the ability to stand, lift, and bend for 95% of the workday. You must also be able to squat/crouch and push/pull for 33% of the workday, twist for 50% of the workday, and grasp and turn for 50% of the workday. The role involves being around moving machinery for 100% of the workday and lifting a maximum of 65 pounds.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
