Adecco is hiring immediately for Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Aurora, IL. Shipping and Receiving Clerk essential jobs is with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, that pays $17.00 plus available overtime. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be managing daily manual and clerical duties associated with the receipt of materials and supplies and the shipment of Company products, Company-owned materials, and company-supplier material.
Available Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Training would be from 7:00am-3:00pm.)
Pay rate: $ 17.00.
Key Responsibilities for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, including raw materials, parts, and equipment.
Record and document details of received items in inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy in team numbers, quantities, and condition.
Communicate discrepancies or issues with shipments to suppliers, procurement teams, and supervisor as needed.
Coordinate with the quality control team to inspect materials and ensure they meet specified quality standards.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move materials.
Maintain a clean organized receiving area and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements for this Shipping and Receiving Clerk role:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with material handling equipment.
Strong analytical skills to identify basic problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Fluent in English.
