As a Starbucks shift team leader, you will model the operational standards that shape our Starbucks Experience . You will lead your shift while actively working alongside a team of baristas, delivering exceptional customer service and expertly crafted beverages. In our vibrant store environment, you will have the opportunity to inspire and mentor others, foster an uplifting team atmosphere, and enhance your leadership skills. Our shift leaders play a crucial role in creating delightful experiences for both our customers and partners.

Summary of Experience
  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant setting - 1 year
Basic Qualifications
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Availability for flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Compliance with store operating policies, including service and cash handling standards.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of customer interaction experience.
  • Experience preparing and coaching others in food and beverage preparation to standard recipes or customer customization.
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to or coordinating multiple employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Quick learner with effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Able to work cohesively as part of a team.
