Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED certificate preferred.
- Prior retail or sales experience preferably the retail industry.
- Shooting sports knowledge a plus.
- Prior retail cashier or cash handling experience is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have or obtain a Certificate of Eligibility.
Essential Functions:
- Greets all customers.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and salesmanship.
- Demonstrates constant awareness of firearm safety.
- Executes all required firearms paperwork within legal parameters.
- Provides product knowledge and helps locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
- Provides supervision of store employees on a daily basis
- Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions.
- Standing and walking the entire work shift.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including evenings, holidays and weekends. Open for business 7 days / week.
