Lead the front of house team with effective communication and professionalism to ensure the highest standards of quality and guest service. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Interact with other departments to ensure the goals of the organization are achieved. This position's starting salary is $45,000. This position will work nights and weekends; ranging from 2p-3a. Essential Functions: Develop and maintain a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members. Ensure the highest standards of quality by developing and enforcing recipe standards and training procedures. Work directly with Food & Beverage Manager to ensure quality product, presentation and service to our guest. Ensure proper execution and quality control of all venues. Maintain current knowledge of entire beverage menu. Assist in the completion of monthly inventories and submission of all reports to Finance. Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized work environment. Hire and train through hands-on training techniques. Demonstrate professional food & beverage techniques and methods as well as project a professional attitude and manner at all times. Schedule hourly personnel. Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and conduct department pre-shifts daily and department meetings bi-monthly. Adhere to all Human Resource's policies & procedures, completing appropriate paperwork in a timely manner. Ensure department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures. Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. 3-5 years restaurant experience, with progressive supervision/management a plus. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Successfully complete the Food Service Sanitation training program within their first 90 days of employment. Must be able to successfully complete TIPS training program and receive a Basset Card. Basic sanitation laws of local health department skills required. Knowledge of all bar equipment usage, Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, and gaming laws. Strong administrative, organizational and decision-making abilities. Ability to lead, influence others and coach for success. Able to work flexible shifts. Physical Requirements: Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds Regularly required to see, hear, talk, bend, twist, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in a work environment that is frequently faced paced and noisy.
