Our busy quick-service restaurant is looking for a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities to fill the position of shift manager. As the shift manager, it will be your responsibility to oversee the staff, greet and serve customers, and manage the restaurant during a specific shift. You will work alongside team members to make sure food and beverages are delivered to customers quickly. This role is responsible for scheduling employees, assigning them tasks, handling client complaints, and ensuring that all food and drink safety regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has a history of working in a quick service or fast food restaurant, strong organizational skills, and supervisory experience. • Order supplies and coordinate product deliveries to keep track of inventories and make sure every location is well stocked
• Train the crew on safety guidelines, customer service best practices, and cleaning requirements
• Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
• Delegate activities to employees and make sure they are executed efficiently and successfully to ensure quick service of all food and beverage
• Take care of all aspects of staffing, such as monitoring, scheduling shifts, and training people to improve compliance and output. • Train and mentor team members to enhance performance Qualifications:
• Prior food service experience is required, preferably in fast food or quick service as well as the ability to perform different restaurant employee roles
• Previous management or supervisory experience is required
• Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
• Experience in the food service industry
• Previous restaurant management experience preferred
• Availability to work nights and weekends
• Strong communication and organizational skills Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
