As a Starbucks Shift Leader, you'll be the role model for operational excellence that defines our Starbucks Experience. You'll lead your shift, partnering with a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service and expertly-crafted beverages. In our dynamic store atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to positively influence and mentor others, fostering an encouraging team environment while enhancing your leadership skills.

Summary of Experience
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment - 1 year
Basic Qualifications
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, ensuring quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
  • Six (6) months of experience in a role requiring constant interaction with customers.
  • Prepare and coach team members in the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating tasks involving multiple team members.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
