Position Overview As a Shift Leader, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring a smooth service, high food quality, and a well-trained staff. You will work closely with the team to ensure operational excellence, including leading and mentoring staff, managing day-to-day tasks, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and lead shifts, setting a positive example with a hands-on approach during peak hours.
- Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members, including new and part-time staff.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety are maintained at all times.
- Monitor and manage staffing schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak times.
- Assist with inventory management, vendor relationships, and ensuring stock is appropriately maintained.
- Help resolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they arise.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to drive revenue and improve team performance.
- Assist in monitoring sales, labor, and food costs to maintain profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
