Position Overview

As a Shift Leader, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring a smooth service, high food quality, and a well-trained staff. You will work closely with the team to ensure operational excellence, including leading and mentoring staff, managing day-to-day tasks, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and lead shifts, setting a positive example with a hands-on approach during peak hours.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members, including new and part-time staff.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor and manage staffing schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak times.
  • Assist with inventory management, vendor relationships, and ensuring stock is appropriately maintained.
  • Help resolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to drive revenue and improve team performance.
  • Assist in monitoring sales, labor, and food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
What We're Looking For:

We're seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated individual who can handle multiple tasks at once and maintain a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 1+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting.
  • A strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
  • A hands-on, lead-by-example approach to managing staff.
  • A keen eye for operational efficiency and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to manage high-volume service, especially during peak times.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and labor control.
