As a Shift Leader, you will exemplify the operational standards that define the Starbucks Experience. You will lead each shift, working alongside a team of baristas to deliver exceptional customer service and expertly-crafted beverages. Summary of Experience:
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant setting.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to operating policies and standards related to providing quality food and beverages, cash handling, and store safety and security.
  • 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role where interaction and fulfilling customer requests were key.
  • Ability to prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer specifications.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a role involving task delegation and coordination among multiple employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to direct others effectively.
  • Quick learning skills.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
