As a Starbucks Shift Leader, you will embody the operational standards that define the Starbucks Experience . You'll lead shifts, working alongside a dedicated team of baristas to provide exceptional customer service and expertly-crafted products. In our energetic environment, you will inspire and guide others, foster a supportive team culture, and develop your leadership skills. Our shift leaders play a vital role in crafting uplifting experiences for both customers and partners.

Summary of Experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Perform regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage preparation, cash handling, and store safety and security.
  • Six (6) months of experience requiring consistent customer interaction and the fulfillment of requests.
  • Prepare and coach food and beverage preparation to meet standard recipes or customize to customer preferences.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to two or more employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to direct and manage the work of others.
  • Quick learning capacity.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
