As a Starbucks Shift Leader, you will embody the operational standards that define our Starbucks Experience . Leading each shift, you will work alongside a dedicated team of baristas to deliver exceptional customer service and expertly-crafted beverages. In our energetic store environment, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and guide others, cultivate a supportive team atmosphere, and enhance your leadership skills. We believe our Shift Leaders play a crucial role in creating uplifting experiences for our customers and partners alike.

Overview of Experience
  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality food and beverage products, cash handling, and ensuring store safety.
  • 6 months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customers' requests.
  • Experience preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes.
  • 6 months of experience delegating tasks to, or coordinating the tasks of, employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to build positive relationships.
