Key Responsibilities:
1.
Staff Supervision:
Lead and motivate the team during shifts, ensuring that all employees perform their roles effectively.
Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their performance.
Assist with staff training, ensuring new employees are properly oriented and existing employees follow operational procedures.

Customer Service:
Ensure that customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate service at all times.
Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner, striving to resolve issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and that customers' needs are being met.
Assist with taking orders, preparing food, and fulfilling customer requests when necessary.
3.
Operational Efficiency:
Ensure that food preparation, food safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the shift.
Manage food quality and portion control to ensure that Del Taco's standards are upheld.
Assist in managing the kitchen and front-line operations to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours.
Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Help with inventory management, including restocking supplies and ingredients when needed.

Leadership & Teamwork:
Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating Del Taco's core values.
Foster teamwork and open communication among staff members.
Provide support to team members when they encounter challenges and ensure that they stay focused and motivated during their shift.
Maintain a professional and respectful work environment that encourages employee development.
5.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines during the shift.
Conduct safety checks to ensure that food safety standards are followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food and equipment.
Monitor and enforce restaurant cleanliness, ensuring that all areas, including the kitchen and dining room, meet hygiene standards.

Cash Handling & Administrative Duties:
Assist with cash handling procedures, including overseeing register transactions and ensuring proper cash management during shifts.
Support opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers, completing end-of-shift paperwork, and securing the restaurant.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
Prior experience with managing a team or taking on leadership responsibilities is preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality or business is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment for extended periods.
