As a Starbucks Shift Lead, you'll embody the operational excellence that characterizes the Starbucks Experience . Leading your shift, you will collaborate closely with baristas to provide outstanding customer service and meticulously crafted beverages. You'll work in a vibrant environment where your influence can uplift your team, foster encouragement, and advance your leadership abilities. Our shift leads play a crucial role in creating an exceptional atmosphere for both customers and partners.

Experience Summary:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Adherence to store policies, including quality standards for beverages and food products, cash handling, and safety protocols.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a role involving constant customer interaction.
  • Ability to prepare and guide the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized orders.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in delegating tasks or coordinating team activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to supervise and guide the work of others.
  • Quick learning capability.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the retail landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Skill in building relationships.
