SHIFT LEAD SERVER, BARISTA, HOST, OR BARTENDER.

Candidate(s) must be available at least three shifts per week - minimum one shift Saturday/Sunday

We are open seven days a week.

Monday-Friday 7am-8:00pm

Saturday-Sunday 7am-3:00pm
Drive Thru open daily at 6:30am.

The Shift Lead Barista, Host, Bartender, or Server will:
  • Lead their team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with all FOH and BOH team members.
  • Comfortably bring questions, concerns, and observations to management.
  • Follow procedures and protocols listed in the employee handbook and upon training.
  • Keep a calm, level-headed demeanor in all situations.
  • Be the point of contact for all shift team members requiring guidance.
  • Set the overall atmosphere in regards to lighting, ambiance, and guest experience.
  • Follow the JavaVino Experience guidelines provided by the restaurant to keep positive experiences consistent for each and every customer in all aspects.
  • Use problem-solving skills to take initiative and make decisions or find solutions on their own.
  • Provide guidance on Toast POS and Rewards to customers and staff.
  • Accurately handle the cash drawer, bills and change.
  • Initiate shift check-ins to review features, deals, and events currently happening.
  • Uplift team members at all times.
  • Mentor and train new or less-experienced team members, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Oversee inventory and stock levels for the shift, making sure the team has all necessary supplies to perform their duties.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and with empathy, turning negative experiences into positive ones.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changes in scheduling, shift roles, or job responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure consistent quality of beverages and food served to guests, maintaining high standards of preparation and presentation.
