As a Shift Lead, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Completes FOH and BOH check-out procedures.
- Assists with coordinating interviews for managers
- Familiar and able to assist manager with prep list, ordering, production schedule and inventory.
- FOOD daily taste plates, prep lists, open kitchen, check in all orders (signed off on by KM/GM).
- Able to open and/or close a shift on own.
- Mid-Day and PM drawer-counts, nightly closing duties/paperwork, nightly email, 3PD reconciliation, POS oversight.
- Demonstrates excellent guest service at all times.
- Communicates guest and/or team member issues to management.
- Communicates any other concerns, such as safety issues, to management in a timely manner.
What you will bring to the table:- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in restaurant operations or a related industry.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Passion and appreciation for an established culture built on principles of charity, hospitality, goodwill, servant leadership, kindness, humility, and integrity.
- Evidence of ability to use good judgment.
- High level of integrity, flexibility, and credibility.
- Ability to interact professionally and establish rapport with restaurant team members and managers alike.
- Sets the example in conduct, grooming, guest and team member interactions.
- Must possess or acquire working knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and utensils, point of sales systems, and office machines.
