Salary: £54,000 £57,000 per annum + Overtime
Shifts: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights 4 on, 4 off)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Lead Engineer to join on-site engineering team in a prestigious commercial building in Canary Wharf. This role is ideal for an engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise, looking for a long-term position within a high-end facilities management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.

  • Responding to and resolving building services faults efficiently during shift hours.

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company procedures.

  • Monitoring BMS and critical plant systems, escalating issues where necessary.

  • Keeping accurate records of work via CAFM systems and shift handover reports.

  • Supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the building.

Key Requirements:

  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical with Mechanical Engineering experience

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential for electrical bias).

  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance or critical environments.

  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, pumps, motors, and building automation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
