Your Role:
In this hands-on role, you ll be responsible for keeping our operations running efficiently by carrying out reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a variety of high-speed production machinery. Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment.
- Conducting PPM schedules to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining PLC-controlled systems, pumps, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Working proactively to improve processes and reliability across the site.
- CMMS understanding
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- The ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with automated production systems and modern maintenance techniques.
